K1X (who else?) was asked to host the BBB outdoor streetball court. With the help of our friend Dilim, we assembled an elite crew of Berlin’s finest ballplayers for the occasion. And whilst most of the crowd in attendance would have preferred a better outcome for Team Germany, the game managed to set the perfect stage for a groovy night to remember. A picture perfect sunset, selected tunes by San Gabriel & Giampi (Hip Hop Don’t Stop Soundsystem), a sizzlin’ BBQ and the presence of so many friends made this get-together especially grand. The party (which actually planned as just an intro) was still bouncing at 3:30 am and went on ’til the break-a, break-a dawn, and even N.E.R.D. showed up. Big shout out to BBB and everybody who was there. To a great Bread & Butter week in Berlin!
