Spotted: Mac Miller (again)

Mac Miller is a shooting star on the rap scene – and it’s obvious that hip hop’s golden era was instrumental in shaping his flavor (shout out to Big L and A Tribe Called Quest)! Last month, Mac came to our hometown of Munich to make the rap-kids go bonkers (see update Sep. 12th). Two days later, MM wore our “What’s the Scenario!?” tee at his celebrated show in Berlin. Thanks for letting everyone know what’s “most dope”!

Saigon x Berlin

Narrator: Saigon, The Yardfather. Last Friday people at Club Bohannon were able to witness pure New York rap at its finest. Sai-giddy finally released his long awaited album earlier this year and made it to Berlin, Germany for one show to present it and a bunch of underground hits.

Make sure you catch him live at one of the festivals this summer.

Some of y’all might remember our “K1X Marks The Spot” look book from 2008 for which our arty genius Karmo worked the background magic.

Turns out our friends at Duck Down Records were still feeling the part of our campaign featuring artists Black Milk and Sean Price. So they went ahead and used it for their promotion of the release shows of the upcoming Random Axe album, brought to you by Sean Price, Black Milk & Guilty Simpson. The latter was added to the original artwork and everyone received some fresh gear.

Total Blackout – Method Man & Redman go K1X

One of the illest one-two-punches in the game (and that’s beyond any reasonable doubt) are Brick-City-Newark’s Redman and the Ticallion Stallion Johnny Blaze aka Method Man. Last Friday they landed in K1X’s hometown of Munich to bring the “Backstage” (concert location) to it’s knees. Of course, it all ended up in smoke – literally. Thanks for representing “some of the flyest clothes on the planet”, fellas!
The new Redman joint “Reggie” is dropping December 7th. Also make sure you look out for “Blackout 3” and “How High Part II” sometime next year.

the last time that hip hop legend az crossed the pond for a visit to germany was in 1997. that’s why it was obligatory to catch up with him in berlin this past weekend. at our store “sosa” picked out the k1x chop em down zipper hoody for his show later that night.
