corey williams did it again. he propelled his townsville crocodiles past the highly favored perth wildcats in the first round of the nbl playoffs. closing the series out on the road homicide dropped 28 points and 8 boards while freeing up his teammates like mike scofield. the silver surfer was getting to the cup and john rillie got open (10 threes). up next is the semi-final matchup with the league-leading South Dragons who have already made clear who will be their main focus on d!

corey williams is finally getting the ink he deserves. after dropping an average 19 points per game on opposing defenses and shooting 54 % from the floor this season “homicide” has been rewarded with the cover of the latest issue of australia’s number one basketball publication, handle magazine.

we do admit that bounce magazine does have a case saying that dropping 44 points on former nba defensive player of the year ron artest is a legitimate reason for a cover.

what started out as an interview with rick “open bar” apodaca on www.bouncemag.com heated up in the comment section. after ruling out a 1on1-matchup bobbito challenged rick to a 3 point contest. the “pride of puerto rico” accepted the challenge and corey “homicide” williams got in the mix as well. so it is set. watch it go down in new york city this summer.

the most dangerous was lighting up the scoreboard over the weekend once again. homicide put up 24 points, 8 assists And 3 steals while securing the w for the townsville crocs against the taipans of cairns.

Another big game for Homicide

the townsville crocodiles took on the the melbourne tigers on saturday. after being down by as many as 23 points in the third quartet the crocs battled their way back into the game behind a strong performance by corey williams. despite 21 points (on 9/15) and 7 assists by homicide, townsville came up short against the defending nbl champ in the end.

the townsville crocodiles survived a close one (103:101 over the sydney spirit) to bring in a w in their 250th homegame. homicide was leading the way with 35 points, 22 of those coming in the first half.

streetball bible bounce magazine just dropped their new issue, another classic. the cover alone is legendary. especially for us, as it features the real ron artest: ron ron haninging out with the kids in queensbridge. the bk/red reversible jersey sets the kids are wearing in the pic are o.g. k1x jerseys we made up for ron & jose’s (wadup big fella!) aau team “triple threat tru wariers” a while back. it’s good to see they’re still the craze in queensbridge.
ron artest was probably the stand-out baller in new york city this summer. gotta love an nba player who works the street courts in his off-season on a daily basis. even with only just one fron tooth we might add. but corey “homicide” williams was the man who owned new york’s most respected tourney this summer: pro city. take a look at kyle henry’s account of why hunter college was the place to be and how homicide left his footprints by clicking the images below …
