the godfather of dunk, kadour ziani, recently travelled to phoenix to shoot a dvd about his secrets to jumping, dunking and living life in general (those of you who know kadour know what types of unique philosophies we are hinting at). the dvd is produced by sportvideos.com and will feature drills to increase flexibility, body strength and vertical ups. thanks to kevin couliau for the great image!

Kadour Ziani was in Iran last week for the “Nokia Xpress Music – Player All Powerful Event”, a big sport event out there. it was the first event in Iran where they allowed girls to see the show! and “zianimal” delivered in his own unique fashion. just let the pictures below speak for themselves.

last week slam nation put on a show at the Tournoi de l’Asphalte in france introducing its newest member along the way. hervé fit right in with a series of rim rattling dunks and made his k1x debut a memorable one. kadour ziani was also back in action and obviously doing his thing as you can tell from the pics below.

here are some pics taken last weekend at a streetball jam in romania that featured international jaw-droppers kevin “golden child” kemp (it’s gotta be the name!!) out of tacoma, “fly” guy dupuy, and yann de blaine of the dunkalicious crew, france… and of course, the godfather of dunk kadour “zianimal” ziani, who was on hand to host the show and write a ton of autographs…

k1x’s international outlook is backed by a colorful history of ballplaying warriors all over the word. we are the nation of hoop, remember! france has always been a great home for k1x, thanks to guys like streetball activist johnny kilroy, slam nation, kevin couliau, anchor man george eddy, french national ewodo narcisse, streetball wiz 6-kay and u.s. pros like kareem reid, cedric brooks and others.
it was the godfather of dunk and k1x head kadour ziani who first introduced us to “fly guy” dupuy. guy’s freakish dunking skills made us snap our fingers in disbelief (check him out on youtube!), while his friendly personality made us instant believers. the future of dunk is now an official k1x warrior and currently featured in k1x’s “marks the spot” campaign (see below) as well as in fabulous reverse magazine.
