Last Thursday night, K1X invited friends, partners and everyone who was up for a good time to join us at Trust Bar in Berlin, where we hosted our traditional Bread & Butter get-get-get-get-down feat. K1X NYC Grand Opening

Hello New York,

The opening of a K1X flagship store in SoHo, New York City has been a long time coming, from selling t-shirts and sneakers from the back of a pick -up truck in 1993. But here we stand now, an international street-wear brand with strong roots in Basketball distributed in over 40 countries.

To celebrate our retail launch, we collaborated with acclaimed photographer Barron Claiborne to create a limited edition t-shirt series “Tonz-O-Gunz K.O.N.Y” featuring one of the iconic B.I.G images.

Barron Claiborne will be offering an intimate discussion about his work and this shooting of this iconic image.

Join us Saturday, Oct. 1st, 6-11 pm (359 Lafayette Street)!

This Friday: K1X DCAC Patrick Mohr Edition Release Rave in cooperation with POOL

Join our “Mir san Mohr” Release Rave in Munich this Friday, as three bavarian institutions -K1X, designer Patrick Mohr and the POOL store- celebrate the homecoming of our heralded footwear project. After previous release festivities at Wood Wood Berlin (see clip in our k1x.com and 424 on Fairfax (Los Angeles), we’re ready to get deep down and dirty as only locals can. Tunes courtesy of DJ Patrick Mohr himself. Also starring the notorious Kill the Tills crew on decks. The uniquely grimey “Art Babel” hot spot will be torn down in the not too distant future – so get a glimpse while you can. If you’re not in the neighborhood, check the website early next week for pics.

The K1X DCAC Patrick Mohr MK2 edition is limited to 240 units world wide and available in three super suede color ways (red, sand, white). Apparently, there are almost none left. If you want to try your luck in our hometown, visit POOL (Maximilianstr.), the POPlet Store (Kreutzstr.) or their online store!

K1X vs. WOOD WOOD – The recap

Last week we celebrated the global release of our already legendary DCAC Patrick Mohr Mk2 at WOOD WOOD Berlin. Fans, heads, influencers and journalists got a first glimpse at the limited edition sneakers (80 units per colorway) and dance to the tunes played by Patrick Mohr and DJ Hell (Gigolo Records). It was a night to remember and if you missed it make sure to check the recap video by HIGHSNOBIETY and the pics after the jump.

K1X Collective Launch Party Recap

The launch event of our K1X Collective pop up boutique in SoHo, New York last Thursday was a blast! During the Vogue Fashion’s Night Out we celebrated with our friends from *folorunsho, Mechabunny, Antenna Mag, Entrée Lifestyle, Label of Love, Cast, Hoon and Bulldog London Dry Gin! In addition the big apple got an exclusive first taste of our K1Xclusive collaborations with renowned designers Patrick Mohr and Karina Kino. The K1X Collective concept will unite this selected group of brands under one roof – 359 Lafayette – and the pop up boutique will remain open until September 30th!

Bread & Butter Day 2: The Party

It’s always a good sign when the party spills outside onto the pavement. In last night’s case – it was just simply too hot to stay inside for longer than it takes to get a free drink at the bar. K1X and Reebok hosted the sundown event at the Bang Bang Gallery in Berlin Mitte, with the friendly support of K1X Energy, Warsteiner and Afri Cola. Thanks to all K1X friends, distributors, fans, business partners, groupies, supporters, staff, ballplayers and of course Ghostpoet and his crew for the good times!
